Ingredients
- 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup banana, sliced
- 1 cup pineapple, cut into chunks
- 1 cup watermelon, cut into cubes
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (optional)
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- Prepare all the fruit by washing and cutting them into appropriate sizes for skewering.
- If using, mix honey and lime juice in a small bowl to create a light drizzle for the fruit.
- Take a skewer and start threading the fruit onto it, alternating between strawberries, blueberries, banana slices, pineapple chunks, and watermelon cubes.
- Continue until the skewer is filled, leaving some space at each end for easy handling.
- Repeat the process with the remaining fruit and skewers.
- If desired, drizzle the honey-lime mixture over the assembled kabobs for added flavor.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 hour before serving for a refreshing treat.
Notes
- For a fun twist, add mini marshmallows or pieces of pound cake between the fruit on the skewers.
- Use cookie cutters to create fun shapes from the watermelon or pineapple for a festive touch.
