Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup apple butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour (optional, for thicker texture)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared springform pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gradually add the granulated sugar and continue to beat until well combined. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Stir in the apple butter, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, salt, and flour (if using) until fully incorporated.
  7. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour to cool gradually.
  9. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
  10. Carefully remove the sides of the springform pan. Slice and serve chilled.
