Description
A delicious recipe for grilled pork strips marinated in a flavorful Thai sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound pork tenderloin, cut into strips
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes until the sugar is dissolved.
- Place the pork strips in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the pork. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Remove the pork from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill the pork strips for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Remove the pork from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve the grilled pork strips garnished with fresh cilantro and lime wedges on the side.
Notes
- For a sweeter marinade, add an extra tablespoon of brown sugar or honey.
- Serve the grilled pork strips over rice or in lettuce wraps for a fresh twist.
