Featuring seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, crisp lettuce, pickles, and a homemade special sauce, all wrapped up in a soft tortilla, this is the ultimate handheld version of your favorite burger. Quick, delicious, and perfect for meal prep!

Ingredients

For the Special Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

For the Wraps:

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle slices (optional)
  • Olive oil or butter for toasting (optional)

Instructions

1. Make the Special Sauce

  1. Mix mayonnaise, chopped pickles, mustard, vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Refrigerate while preparing the rest of the dish to let the flavors blend.

2. Cook the Beef

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.

3. Assemble the Wraps

  1. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet for a few seconds on each side (optional but recommended).
  2. Spread 1-2 tbsp of special sauce on each tortilla.
  3. Add cooked beef, shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, and pickle slices.
  4. Fold the sides in and roll into a wrap.

4. Toast (Optional) & Serve

  1. For extra crispiness, lightly toast the wrap in a skillet with a little olive oil or butter for 1-2 minutes per side.
  2. Slice in half and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a healthier option, use whole wheat or low-carb tortillas.
  • For extra crunch, add crispy onions or shredded cabbage instead of lettuce.
  • Make it spicy by adding jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the special sauce.
