Description

Bite-Sized Mini Tater Tot Cheeseburgers are the ultimate party snack, combining the fun of tater tots with delicious cheeseburger flavors in a mini slider format.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package (32 ounces) frozen tater tots
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 12 slider buns (mini hamburger buns)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined. Form the mixture into small patties, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Place the tater tots on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  4. While the tater tots are baking, cook the beef patties in a skillet over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a small amount of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  5. Once the tater tots and patties are done, assemble the sliders. Place a tater tot on the bottom half of each slider bun, add a cheeseburger patty, and top with ketchup, mustard, and diced pickles. Place the top half of the bun on each slider.
  6. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, try adding a slice of jalapeño or a dash of hot sauce to each slider.
  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
  • For a vegetarian twist, use black bean patties instead of beef.
