Description

Buffalo Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine is a creamy and flavorful pasta dish that combines tender chicken, spicy buffalo sauce, and rich Alfredo sauce for a delightful meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil a pot of salted water and cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, warm the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced chicken and season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Sauté for 6-8 minutes until fully cooked and golden brown.
  4. Pour in the buffalo sauce, stirring well to coat the chicken evenly. Simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream until combined.
  6. Gradually sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  7. Incorporate the drained fettuccine into the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  8. Top with shredded mozzarella and cover the skillet for a few minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For a milder taste, use less buffalo sauce or a mild variant.
  • Enhance the dish with nutritious vegetables like spinach or broccoli.
  • For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for the heavy cream and reduce the cheese quantity.
