Chicken Breast in Creamy Garlic Sauce Recipe 

Hello to all my viewers! 😋 Today, I’m excited to share a fantastic recipe for Chicken Breast in a Creamy Garlic Sauce. This dish is simple, budget-friendly, and absolutely delicious. You won’t believe how tender and flavorful chicken breast can be until you try this recipe! 

Ingredients: 

For the Chicken: 

  • 3 chicken fillets 
  • Salt and pepper 
  • Oil 
  • Butter 

For the Sauce: 

  • 7 cloves of garlic (2 cloves for frying, 5 cloves for sauce) 
  • 1 onion, chopped 
  • 1/2 cup of cream 
  • 1/2 cup of broth or water 
  • Lemon juice 
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 
  • Parsley, chopped 

For the Rice: 

  • 1 cup of rice 
  • Water 
  • 1 teaspoon of salt 

For the Vegetables: 

  • 1 carrot, sliced 
  • 1 pepper, chopped 
  • 100 g (0.2 lb) asparagus 
  • 100 g (0.2 lb) canned corn 

For the Salad: 

  • Salad mix 
  • 1 tomato, chopped 
  • 1 cucumber, chopped 
  • 1/2 red onion, chopped 
  • Olive oil 
  • Salt and pepper, to taste 

Instructions: 

Preparing the Chicken: 

  1. Season the Chicken: 
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper over the chicken fillets to season them. 
  1. Cook the Chicken: 
  • In a large skillet, heat some oil and a knob of butter over medium heat. 
  • Add the chicken fillets and cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through.  
  1. Making the Creamy Garlic Sauce: 
  1. Sauté the Garlic and Onion: 
  • If necessary, add a little more butter to the same skillet. Sauté 2 cloves of minced garlic and the chopped onion until fragrant and translucent. 
  1. Prepare the Sauce: 
  • Add the remaining 5 cloves of minced garlic and cook for another minute. 
  • Pour in the cream and broth (or water), stirring to combine. 
  • Add a squeeze of lemon juice and nutmeg, then let the sauce simmer until it thickens slightly. 
  1. Combine Chicken and Sauce: 
  • Return the chicken fillets to the skillet, coating them with the sauce. Let them simmer for a few more minutes until fully heated and well-coated. 
  1. Add Fresh Parsley: 
  • Add the chopped parsley right before serving, stirring it in to incorporate. 

Cooking the Rice: 

  1. Prepare the Rice: 
  • In a pot, bring water to a boil and add a teaspoon of salt. 
  • Add the rice and cook according to package instructions until tender. Drain any excess water. 

Preparing the Vegetables: 

  1. Cook the Vegetables: 
  • In a separate pan, sauté the carrot, pepper, asparagus, and corn in a bit of oil until tender. Season to taste with salt and pepper, adjusting as desired. 

Assembling the Salad: 

  1. Prepare the Salad: 
  • In a bowl, combine the salad mix, chopped tomato, cucumber, and red onion. 
  • Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to your liking. 

Serving:
