Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 4 cups bean sprouts
- 2 cups napa cabbage, finely chopped
- 1 cup carrots, cut into thin strips
- 1 cup bell pepper, cut into thin slices
- 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 8 ounces chow mein noodles, prepared as per package instructions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Warm the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until aromatic.
- Introduce the shredded chicken, stir-frying for 2-3 minutes until warmed through.
- Incorporate the napa cabbage, carrots, bell pepper, and green onions, stir-frying for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are vibrant and slightly tender.
- Fold in the bean sprouts and pre-cooked chow mein noodles, mixing everything together.
- Drizzle the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil over the stir-fry, tossing until evenly coated and heated for about 2-3 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as desired.
- Serve immediately while hot.

- For a vegetarian twist, swap the chicken for tofu and use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth.
