Ingredients

  • 7 chicken legs, cooked and shredded
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • Cottage cheese
  • Cheese of your choice, shredded
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Butter, for greasing
  • Lasagne noodles, cooked according to package instructions
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Vegetable oil, for sautéing
  • A bunch of parsley and dill, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Ground coriander, to taste
  • Paprika, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Chicken Filling

  1. Heat a bit of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the chopped onion until translucent (about 5 minutes).
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shredded chicken to the skillet and stir to combine.
  5. Season the chicken with salt, ground coriander, paprika, and black pepper. Stir well and cook for 3-5 minutes to let the flavors meld. Remove from heat and set aside.

2. Prepare the Cheese Mixture

  • In a medium bowl, combine the cottage cheese with two eggs. Mix until smooth.
  • Add the chopped parsley and dill, stirring to combine.

3. Assemble the Lasagne

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease a large baking dish with butter.
  • Start layering: Add a layer of cooked lasagne noodles to the bottom of the dish. Spread a layer of chicken filling over the noodles. Add a layer of the cottage cheese mixture. Arrange slices of tomatoes on top. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of lasagne noodles on top.

  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top layer of noodles.
  • Dot the top with small pieces of butter.

5. Bake the Lasagne
