Description

These crack chicken tenders are crispy, juicy, and bursting with flavor! Coated with a savory blend of buttery Ritz crackers, Parmesan cheese, and ranch seasoning, they’re the ultimate crowd-pleaser for any meal or occasion. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or main dish, these chicken tenders are quick to prepare and guaranteed to be a hit with both kids and adults.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup Ritz crackers (crushed)
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oven and Baking Sheet
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
  2. Make the Coating
    • In a resealable plastic bag, crush the Ritz crackers using a rolling pin until they’re fine crumbs. Transfer the crumbs to a bowl.
    • Add the grated Parmesan cheese, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, and onion powder to the bowl. Mix well.
  3. Prepare the Chicken
    • In a separate bowl, combine the mayonnaise with a tablespoon of water to thin it slightly. This will help the coating adhere to the chicken.
  4. Coat the Chicken Tenders
    • Dip each chicken tender into the mayonnaise, ensuring it’s fully coated.
    • Roll the chicken tender in the cracker mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating sticks.
  5. Arrange on Baking Sheet
    • Place the coated chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece for even cooking.
  6. Bake the Chicken Tenders
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the coating is golden brown. Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Serve and Enjoy
    • Remove the tenders from the oven and let them rest for 2–3 minutes. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces, such as ranch dressing, barbecue sauce, or honey mustard.

Notes

  • To make this recipe even crispier, spray the chicken tenders lightly with cooking spray before baking.
  • You can substitute panko breadcrumbs or cornflakes for Ritz crackers if you prefer.
  • For a spicy kick, add ½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper or chili powder to the cracker mixture.
