Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) tube crescent roll dough
- 6 oz Brie cheese (cut into small squares)
- 1/4 cup orange marmalade
- 1/4 cup whole cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped pistachios (or pecans/walnuts)
- Fresh rosemary (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Crescent Dough
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface.
- Cut the dough into 24 small squares using a knife or pizza cutter.
- Gently press each square into the wells of a mini muffin tin, creating small dough cups.
Step 2: Add the Brie
- Place one small square of Brie cheese into each dough cup.
- Ensure the Brie sits snugly in the center of the dough.
Step 3: Add the Toppings
- Spoon about 1/4 teaspoon of orange marmalade onto each piece of Brie.
- Add another 1/4 teaspoon of whole cranberry sauce on top of the marmalade.
Step 4: Top with Nuts
- Sprinkle chopped pistachios (or your preferred nuts) over each bite for added crunch and flavor.
Step 5: Bake to Perfection
- Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crescent dough turns golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Step 6: Garnish and Serve
- Remove the bites from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Garnish each bite with a small sprig of fresh rosemary for a festive touch.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Make Ahead: Assemble the bites in the muffin tin, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for up to 2 hours before baking.
- Nut Alternatives: If you’re avoiding nuts, omit them or substitute with dried cranberries for an extra sweet and tart topping.
- Customize the Cheese: Brie is classic, but Camembert or goat cheese works wonderfully too.
- Serving Ideas: Pair with sparkling wine or place on a holiday charcuterie board for a show-stopping spread.
