- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt & freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz cremini or button mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 cup Caesar dressing
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven & Prepare the Chicken
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
2. Sear the Chicken
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Brown the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
- Transfer to a baking dish.
3. Cook the Mushrooms & Garlic
- In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms until soft (about 5 minutes).
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
- Scatter mushrooms over the chicken in the baking dish.
4. Make the Creamy Caesar Sauce
- In a bowl, whisk together Caesar dressing, sour cream, Parmesan, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir until smooth and well combined.
5. Assemble & Bake
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and mushrooms.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbling.
6. Rest & Garnish
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
