Description
A rich and creamy cheesecake featuring a delightful blend of vanilla bean and white chocolate, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 4 ounces white chocolate, melted and slightly cooled
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and ½ cup of sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the vanilla extract and vanilla bean paste, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and flour until smooth. Gradually add the egg mixture to the cream cheese mixture, folding gently until just combined.
- Stir in the melted white chocolate until fully incorporated.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
- Turn off the oven and crack the door, allowing the cheesecake to cool in the oven for 1 hour.
- Remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Before serving, garnish with additional whipped cream and white chocolate shavings if desired.
Notes
- For a chocolate twist, substitute half of the white chocolate with dark chocolate.
- To make it a no-bake cheesecake, skip the baking step and set the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours until firm.
