Crispy Lobster Bites with Garlic Butter Sauce are divine!
Ingredients
- 1 pound lobster meat, cooked and chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Dip each lobster piece first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- In a large skillet, heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Carefully add the lobster bites in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- For the garlic butter sauce, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the parsley, lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the crispy lobster bites hot with the garlic butter sauce for dipping.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the flour mixture.
- Try substituting the lobster with shrimp or crab for a different seafood flavor.
