Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the Crock Pot.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, ranch dressing mix, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the Crock Pot, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and stir it back into the sauce.
- Serve over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread, and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a little kick, add 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the sauce mixture.
- Substitute the cream of chicken soup with cream of mushroom soup for a different flavor profile.
