Ingredients

Base

  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g (1.8 oz) sugar
  • 30 ml (1 fl oz) vegetable oil
  • 50 g (1.8 oz) flour
  • 20 g (0.7 oz) cocoa powder
  • 7 g (0.2 oz) baking powder

Chocolate Layers

  • 100 g (3.5 oz) melted white chocolate
  • 200 g (7.1 oz) melted dark chocolate
  • 200 g (7.1 oz) sugar
  • 100 g (3.5 oz) butter
  • 200 ml (6.8 fl oz) rich cream
  • 200 g (7.1 oz) roasted peanuts

Cream Layers

  • 200 ml (6.8 fl oz) heavy cream
  • 100 g (3.5 oz) powdered sugar
  • 50 g (1.8 oz) cream cheese
  • 30 g (1.1 oz) Nutella
  • 15 g (0.5 oz) hydrated gelatin

Instructions

Prepare the Base

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan, lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the vegetable oil and mix well.
  • Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder, and gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the base cool completely.

Prepare the Chocolate Layers

  • In a saucepan, heat the sugar, butter, and rich cream over medium heat. Stir until the mixture is smooth and the sugar is dissolved.
  • Divide the mixture evenly into two bowls. Add melted white chocolate to one bowl and melted dark chocolate to the other, stirring until combined.
  • Fold the roasted peanuts into the dark chocolate mixture.

Prepare the Cream Layers

  • In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  • Add the powdered sugar, cream cheese, Nutella, and hydrated gelatin, then whip until stiff peaks form.

Assemble the Dessert

  • Spread the white chocolate mixture evenly over the cooled base.
  • Add a layer of the cream mixture over the white chocolate layer.
  • Spread the dark chocolate and peanut mixture over the cream layer.
  • Add another layer of the cream mixture, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Chill and Serve

  • Refrigerate the assembled dessert for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
  • Slice into squares or bars and serve chilled. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor.
  • Allow the dessert to fully chill for clean slices.
  • Substitute peanuts with almonds, hazelnuts, or walnuts if desired.
