Delicious Italian-Inspired Potato and Meat Patties

  • 4-5 potatoes

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 red onion, finely chopped 
  • 350g ground meat (beef, pork, or a mix) 
  • 1 bell pepper, finely chopped 
  • 50g green onions, chopped 
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce 
  • Salt and spices, to taste (such as black pepper, paprika, or Italian seasoning) 

Instructions 

  1. Prepare the Potatoes: 
  • Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks. Boil in a pot of salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. 
  • Drain and return the potatoes to the pot. Mash with the butter until smooth and set aside to cool slightly.
