Ingredients

Instructions
Prepare the Donut Dough

Knead and Let Rise
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
Shape the Donuts
- After the dough has risen, gently punch it down to release air.
- Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thick on a floured surface.
- Use a 3-inch round cutter to cut out donut shapes. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cover with a damp cloth, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
Fry the Donuts
