Ingredients

  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon or Canadian bacon
  • 1 cup English muffins, torn into pieces
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1 cup hollandaise sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme until well combined.
  3. Stir in the crumbled bacon or Canadian bacon, torn English muffins, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Drizzle hollandaise sauce over the top and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  8. Cut into squares and serve warm.
