These French Dip Sliders are the ultimate crowd-pleaser! Packed with tender roast beef, gooey cheese, caramelized onions, and buttery slider rolls, they’re baked to perfection and served with a rich au jus dipping sauce. Ingredients
Sliders:
- 12 slider rolls (King’s Hawaiian or brioche)
- ½ lb thinly sliced roast beef (deli-style, preferably rare)
- ½ lb provolone or Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
- ½ cup caramelized onions
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp creamy horseradish (optional)
Buttery Topping:
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Au Jus Dipping Sauce:
- 2 cups beef broth or stock
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 ½ tbsp all-purpose flour (optional, for thickness)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1–2 tsp roasted beef base (such as Better Than Bouillon)
- 1 tsp fresh thyme (or ¼ tsp dried)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Rolls
- Slice the slider rolls in half and lightly toast under the broiler for a crispier bite.
- Build the Sliders
- Spread horseradish mayo on both halves of the rolls.
- Layer half of the cheese, all the roast beef, caramelized onions, and the remaining cheese.
- Place the top buns over the filling.
- Brush with Buttery Goodness
- Mix melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and parsley.
- Brush generously over the slider tops.
- Bake Until Golden & Gooey
- Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare the Au Jus
- In a saucepan, sauté garlic in butter, stir in flour (if using), then whisk in broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme.
- Simmer for 10 minutes, strain, and serve warm.
- Serve & Enjoy!
