A delicious and creamy casserole featuring fresh broccoli, rice, and a blend of cheeses, topped with crispy French fried onions.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup French onion dip
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup French fried onions
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli florets, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, French onion dip, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese into the mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Top with the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, followed by the French fried onions.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Let the casserole cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the mixture.
- You can substitute the broccoli with cauliflower or mixed vegetables for a different flavor profile.
