A delicious and easy recipe for Fruit and Yogurt Parfaits, perfect for a healthy breakfast or snack.
Ingredients
- 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups granola
- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 banana, sliced
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract until well combined. Adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired.
- In serving glasses or bowls, layer 1/4 cup of the yogurt mixture at the bottom.
- Add a layer of granola (about 2 tablespoons) on top of the yogurt.
- Add a layer of mixed berries (about 1/2 cup) over the granola.
- Repeat the layers until the glasses are filled, finishing with a layer of yogurt on top.
- Garnish with sliced banana and fresh mint leaves if using.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 hour before serving for a chilled treat.
Notes
- For a tropical twist, substitute mixed berries with diced mango and pineapple.
- Use dairy-free yogurt and granola for a vegan option, and sweeten with maple syrup instead of honey.
