Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 2 green tea bags
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
- 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
- 2 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the green tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the honey or agave syrup until fully dissolved. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
- In a pitcher, combine the cooled green tea with 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice and 2 cups of cold water. Stir well to combine.
- Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness by adding more honey or agave if desired.
- Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves if using.
