  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Begin by heating your waffle iron to the desired temperature as per the manufacturer’s guidelines.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded potatoes, egg, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, dried onion flakes, sea salt, and black pepper. Stir until everything is evenly mixed together.
  3. Brush the waffle iron plates with avocado oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Take half of the potato mixture and place it in the center of the preheated waffle iron, gently spreading it out. Close the lid and let it cook for approximately 5-7 minutes, or until the waffle is crispy and has a beautiful golden hue.
