This Honey Garlic Shrimp with Sausage and Broccoli is a flavor-packed, one-pan meal that’s ready in just 30 minutes! The sweet and savory honey garlic sauce coats tender shrimp, smoky kielbasa sausage, and crisp broccoli for a dish that’s easy to make and absolutely delicious. Serve it over steamed rice, noodles, or cauliflower rice for a quick and satisfying meal!

Ingredients

  • For the Honey Garlic Sauce:
    • ⅓ cup honey
    • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
    • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • For the Stir-Fry:
    • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled & deveined
    • 6 ounces kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced
    • 1 ½ cups broccoli florets
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (to thicken sauce, optional)
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
    • Steamed white rice, brown rice, or noodles (for serving)

Instructions

  • Make the Honey Garlic Sauce – In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
  • Marinate the Shrimp – Pour half of the sauce over the shrimp and let it marinate for 15-20 minutes while preparing the rest of the dish.
  • Sauté the Broccoli – Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add broccoli and cook for 3-4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Cook the Sausage – In the same pan, add the sliced kielbasa sausage and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Cook the Shrimp – Add the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil and cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Remove from the pan.
  • Simmer the Sauce – Pour the remaining sauce into the skillet. If you want a thicker sauce, stir in 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  • Combine Everything – Return the shrimp, sausage, and broccoli to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
  • Serve & Garnish – Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • Make it spicier – Add more red pepper flakes or a drizzle of sriracha.
  • Swap the sausage – Try chicken sausage, chorizo, or turkey kielbasa for a different flavor.
  • Low-carb option – Serve over cauliflower rice or zoodles.
  • Meal prep – Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days and reheat on the stovetop or microwave.
