A delicious and tangy Honey Lemon Vinaigrette Salad Dressing that adds a flavorful twist to your salads.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey and fresh lemon juice until well combined.
- Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while continuing to whisk to emulsify the dressing.
- Add the Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Whisk until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more salt or honey for sweetness as desired.
- Transfer the dressing to a jar or airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Shake well before serving.
Notes
- For a creamier dressing, add 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt to the mixture.
