Description

Rich, creamy, and packed with the nostalgic flavors of hot chocolate, this hot chocolate fudge is the ultimate dessert for cozy nights. It’s loaded with chocolatey goodness, gooey marshmallows, and a hint of vanilla for the perfect sweet treat. With no baking required, it’s as easy as it is delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ cups milk chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 packets hot chocolate mix (or 6 tablespoons)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows

Instructions

  • Prepare the Pan
    • Line an 8×8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  • Melt the Chocolate Mixture
    • In a medium saucepan, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, unsalted butter, and sweetened condensed milk.
    • Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until fully melted and smooth.
  • Add Flavoring
    • Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the hot chocolate mix and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Fold in Marshmallows
    • Gently fold in 2 cups of mini marshmallows, reserving the remaining 1 cup for topping.
  • Pour and Top
    • Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Sprinkle the reserved marshmallows on top, pressing them gently into the fudge.
  • Chill the Fudge
    • Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is fully set.
  • Slice and Serve
    • Once chilled, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper. Slice into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Use high-quality chocolate chips for the best flavor.
  • Don’t overheat the chocolate; low heat prevents it from seizing.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle crushed peppermint or drizzle caramel on top before chilling.
