Instructions
Prepare the Meat Mixture
- In a large mixing bowl, combine minced meat, 1 egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Add finely chopped onions, red bell pepper, shredded cheese, and parsley. Mix until thoroughly combined.
Form the Patties
- Take a handful of the mixture and shape it into a patty about the size of your palm.
- Repeat with the remaining mixture, ensuring all patties are equal in size.
Prepare the Coating
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs mixed with salt, and one with panko bread crumbs.
- Coat each patty lightly with flour, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally roll in breadcrumbs. Ensure an even coating.
Fry the Patties
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Make sure the oil covers the bottom evenly.
- Fry the patties in batches, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Place the fried patties on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Notes
- Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
- Refrigerate the patties for 20 minutes before frying to help them hold their shape.
- Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying to prevent soggy patties.
