Ingredients
- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 lb Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, ensuring there are no gaps.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked Italian sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, provolone cheese, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Spread the sausage and cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough in the baking dish.
- Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the filling, stretching it to cover completely. Pinch the seams to seal.
- Brush the top with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing into squares and serving.
