Ingredients
For the Leprechaun Hats:
- Light green candy melts
- Green sugar sprinkles
- Green jimmies sprinkles
- Sugar ice cream cones
For the Gnome Beards & Faces:
- Orange candy melts
- Jumbo marshmallows
- Orange sugar sprinkles
- Orange confetti sprinkles
- Green Sixlets chocolate candies (for the nose)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Leprechaun Hats:
- Melt green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Dip the pointy end of each ice cream cone into the melted candy, then immediately coat with green sugar or jimmies sprinkles.
- Let them set on parchment paper.
2. Create the Gnome Base:
- Insert a jumbo marshmallow into the open end of each ice cream cone to form the face of the gnome.
- Press gently to fit securely.
3. Make the Beards:
- Melt orange candy melts and spread onto the marshmallow in a beard shape, leaving a small uncovered space for the face.
- Quickly sprinkle orange sugar and confetti sprinkles onto the melted candy before it hardens.
4. Add the Nose:
- Reheat green candy melts and use a sharp knife to make a small hole in the marshmallow.
- Dip a green Sixlets candy in melted candy and press it into the hole to secure.
5. Let Set & Serve:
- Allow treats to fully harden before serving.
