This Loaded Potato Ranch Chicken Casserole is the ultimate comfort food! It’s a creamy, cheesy, and flavorful dish packed with shredded chicken, crispy bacon, and ranch-seasoned hash brown potatoes. Perfect for busy weeknights or potluck dinners!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken

  • 4 cups frozen hash brown potatoes

  • 1 cup ranch dressing

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, frozen hash browns, ranch dressing, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.

  • Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

  • Sprinkle crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

  • Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbling and the cheese is golden brown.

  • Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.

  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use leftover rotisserie chicken or any cooked shredded chicken.

  • Want more veggies? Add diced bell peppers, spinach, or broccoli for extra nutrients.

  • Swap cheddar for pepper jack or Monterey Jack for a spicier version.

  • For a gluten-free version, ensure the ranch dressing and hash browns are labeled gluten-free.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
