  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk together until well mixed.
  3. Add the melted butter, buttermilk, eggs, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
