Ingredients
- 1 package (15.25 oz) Oreo cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Food coloring (optional)
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
-
Crush the Oreos
Place Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse into fine crumbs. Alternatively, crush them in a sealed plastic bag using a rolling pin. -
Mix with Cream Cheese
In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese. Stir or knead until a smooth, dough-like mixture forms. -
Shape the Truffles
Roll the mixture into 1-inch egg-shaped balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. -
Chill
Freeze the truffles for 30 minutes, or until firm. -
Melt the Chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with vegetable oil in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth. -
Color and Coat
(Optional) Divide melted chocolate and stir in food coloring. Dip each chilled truffle into the chocolate and place back on the parchment-lined tray. Add sprinkles immediately before the coating sets.
-
Set and Serve
Refrigerate the coated truffles for another 30 minutes until the chocolate is firm. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- If you prefer, you can use milk or dark chocolate instead of white chocolate.
- For added flair, drizzle with contrasting chocolate or sprinkle with crushed Oreos.
