Description

These no-bake Oreo Egg Truffles are rich, creamy, and irresistibly cute! Made with just a few ingredients, they’re perfect for holidays, birthdays, or anytime you need a sweet treat. Customize them with colorful chocolate and sprinkles for a festive finish!

Ingredients

  • 1 package (15.25 oz) Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Food coloring (optional)

  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreos
Place Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse into fine crumbs. Alternatively, crush them in a sealed plastic bag using a rolling pin.

  • Mix with Cream Cheese
In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese. Stir or knead until a smooth, dough-like mixture forms.

  • Shape the Truffles
Roll the mixture into 1-inch egg-shaped balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Chill
Freeze the truffles for 30 minutes, or until firm.

  • Melt the Chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with vegetable oil in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.

  • Color and Coat
(Optional) Divide melted chocolate and stir in food coloring. Dip each chilled truffle into the chocolate and place back on the parchment-lined tray. Add sprinkles immediately before the coating sets.

  • Set and Serve
Refrigerate the coated truffles for another 30 minutes until the chocolate is firm. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • If you prefer, you can use milk or dark chocolate instead of white chocolate.
  • For added flair, drizzle with contrasting chocolate or sprinkle with crushed Oreos.

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
