A refreshing and fruity Peach Lemonade recipe perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups ripe peaches, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (approximately 4–6 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups chilled water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint sprigs for decoration (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chopped peaches in a blender along with 1 cup of chilled water. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the peach puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher.
- Incorporate the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar into the pitcher, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Gradually add the remaining 3 cups of chilled water, mixing well.
- Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
- Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint sprigs if desired.
Notes
- For a fizzy variation, substitute part of the cold water with club soda or sparkling water.
- For an adult twist, consider adding a splash of vodka.
- If peaches are not in season, experiment with other fruits like strawberries or raspberries.
