  • Author: Annabel
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 2 sandwiches

Description

Start your day with these quick and tasty breakfast sandwiches—a delightful combination of fluffy scrambled eggs, fresh vegetables, savory ham, and melted cheese, all nestled between toasted hamburger buns. This five-minute recipe is perfect for busy mornings or when you’re craving a satisfying breakfast on the go.

Ingredients

  • 100g ham, sliced
  • 1 small cucumber, sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 100g cheese, sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise or sour cream
  • Hamburger buns, split
  • Some ketchup
  • Extra cheese for topping (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Eggs

  • Crack the eggs into a small bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste and beat them until fully mixed.

2. Cook the Eggs

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour in the beaten eggs and scramble them gently until fluffy and fully cooked. Remove from the pan and set aside.

3. Prep the Hamburger Buns

  • Split the hamburger buns in half. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise or sour cream on the bottom halves.

4. Assemble the Sandwiches

  • Layer the sliced ham, cucumber, tomato, and cheese on the buns.
  • Add the scrambled eggs on top of the cheese layer.

5. Add Ketchup and Extra Cheese

  • Drizzle ketchup over the eggs.
  • If desired, sprinkle extra cheese on top for a gooey, melty finish.

6. Toast (Optional)

  • For a warm, crispy sandwich, place the assembled sandwiches back into the skillet. Toast each side for 1–2 minutes until the cheese melts and the buns turn golden brown.

7. Serve Immediately

  • Enjoy the sandwiches fresh out of the skillet with a cup of coffee or juice.

Notes

  • For a healthier option, use whole-grain buns and reduce the amount of cheese.
  • To add a kick of spice, mix a dash of hot sauce into the ketchup or scrambled eggs.
  • Wrap the sandwiches in foil for a portable breakfast you can take on the go.
