A refreshing cherry iced tea recipe perfect for summer days.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups brewed black tea (about 4 tea bags)
  • 1 cup cherry juice (100% juice)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh cherries and lemon slices for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the cooled tea, cherry juice, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir well until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to chill.
  4. To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the cherry iced tea over the ice. Garnish with fresh cherries and lemon slices.
  5. Enjoy your refreshing drink on a warm day!

Notes

  • For a sparkling version, replace half of the water with club soda or sparkling water.
