A refreshing cherry iced tea recipe perfect for summer days.
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups brewed black tea (about 4 tea bags)
- 1 cup cherry juice (100% juice)
- 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Fresh cherries and lemon slices for garnish
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
- In a large pitcher, combine the cooled tea, cherry juice, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir well until the sugar is dissolved.
- Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to chill.
- To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the cherry iced tea over the ice. Garnish with fresh cherries and lemon slices.

Notes
- For a sparkling version, replace half of the water with club soda or sparkling water.
- Add a sprig of fresh mint to each glass for an extra refreshing flavor.
