Description
A refreshing and tropical homemade mango lemonade perfect for hot days.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the diced mangoes and 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mango puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove any pulp.
- Add the fresh lemon juice and granulated sugar to the mango puree in the pitcher. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and mix until combined. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves.
Notes
- For a sparkling twist, replace some or all of the cold water with sparkling water.
- For a tropical variation, add a splash of coconut water for extra flavor.
