Description

A refreshing and tropical homemade mango lemonade perfect for hot days.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the diced mangoes and 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the mango puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove any pulp.
  3. Add the fresh lemon juice and granulated sugar to the mango puree in the pitcher. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  4. Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and mix until combined. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  5. Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves.

Notes

  • For a sparkling twist, replace some or all of the cold water with sparkling water.
  • For a tropical variation, add a splash of coconut water for extra flavor.
