Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1 cup passion fruit juice (fresh or bottled)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
  • Lemon slices (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the black tea bags. Let steep for about 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the cooled tea, passion fruit juice, granulated sugar, and fresh lemon juice. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to chill.
  4. Serve over ice cubes in tall glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices.
