Scoop of Heaven Trifle is a delightful dessert featuring layers of vanilla pudding, angel food cake, mixed berries, and whipped cream, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pound angel food cake, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken.
  2. In a large trifle dish or a glass bowl, layer half of the angel food cake cubes on the bottom.
  3. Spoon half of the vanilla pudding mixture over the cake cubes, spreading it evenly.
  4. Add half of the mixed berries on top of the pudding layer.
  5. Sprinkle half of the mini marshmallows and chopped nuts (if using) over the berries.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining angel food cake, pudding, mixed berries, mini marshmallows, and nuts.
  7. Top the trifle with whipped cream, spreading it evenly across the top.
  8. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
  9. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes
