Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups applesauce
- 2 ¼ cups sugar (plus extra for coating)
- 2 (3 oz) boxes lime Jell-O
- 2 packs unflavored gelatin
- Shamrock-shaped cookie cutter
Instructions
- Heat and Combine: In a saucepan over medium-high heat, mix all ingredients and stir continuously until the mixture comes to a boil. Let it boil for one minute.
- Set the Base: Remove from heat and pour into a parchment-lined 13×9 baking dish for easy removal.
- Chill to Perfection: Refrigerate for two hours or until fully set.
- Cut Out the Fun: Once firm, dust the top with sugar and use a shamrock cookie cutter to create festive shapes.
- Prevent Sticking: Dip the cutter in sugar after each cut, then roll the gummies in sugar to coat the sides and bottom.
