Ingredients
Sweet Potato Mixture
- 2 (29-ounce) cans sweet potatoes, drained
- ⅓ cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ½ cup milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
Topping
- ⅓ cup chopped pecans
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons butter, melted
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Sweet Potatoes
- Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker to prevent sticking.
- In a large bowl, mash the drained sweet potatoes until smooth.
Step 2: Mix the Sweet Potato Base
- Stir in melted butter, white sugar, brown sugar, milk, eggs, and orange juice.
- Mix until the ingredients are well combined and creamy.
Step 3: Assemble the Base
- Pour the sweet potato mixture into the greased slow cooker and spread evenly.
Step 4: Prepare the Topping
- In a small bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, flour, and melted butter. Mix until crumbly.
