Ingredients
- 2 (10 oz) packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed and thoroughly drained
- 2 (14 oz) cans artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (¾ cup for the mixture, ¼ cup for topping)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
- Prepare the Spinach
- Thaw the frozen spinach completely.
- Place it in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out all excess moisture to prevent a watery dip.
- Mix the Creamy Base
- In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and mayonnaise.
- Whisk until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Add Seasonings
- Stir in minced garlic, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to evenly distribute the flavors.
- Incorporate the Cheeses
- Add grated Parmesan cheese and ¾ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese. Stir until fully combined.
- Fold in Vegetables
- Gently fold in the drained spinach and chopped artichoke hearts, ensuring everything is evenly mixed.
- Assemble the Dip
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
- Smooth the top with a spatula and sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup of mozzarella cheese over the surface.
- Bake the Dip
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and lightly golden on top.
- Let It Rest
- Allow the dip to rest for 5–10 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld together.
