Versatile Baked Egg Delight

  • 60g of parmesan cheese 
  • 2 cherry tomatoes, sliced 
  • 6 eggs 
  • Fresh dill, for garnish 

Instructions: 

  1. Preheat the Oven: 
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Coat a baking dish with vegetable oil to ensure the contents don’t stick. 
  1. Prepare the Bread Base: 
  • Place the toasted bread slices in the greased baking dish, creating an even layer. 
  1. Add Cheese and Protein/Vegetables: 
  • Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each piece of toast. 
  • Top the cheese with either a slice of chicken, ham, or your chosen vegetables like eggplant or zucchini. 
  1. Sprinkle Parmesan and Add Tomatoes: 
  • Evenly distribute the grated parmesan cheese over the top of the chicken, ham, or vegetables. 
  • Arrange the sliced cherry tomatoes over the top for added flavor and color. 
  1. Add the Eggs: 
  • Carefully crack an egg onto each slice of bread, ensuring the yolk remains intact. 
  1. Bake the Dish: 
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the eggs are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
