Description
Delicious and flavorful White Cheddar Spinach Chicken Burgers that are easy to make and perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and any desired condiments for serving
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken patties to the skillet. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the patties are golden brown.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns in a separate skillet or in a toaster until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a chicken patty on each bun and topping with lettuce, tomato, and any desired condiments. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For added flavor, mix in some chopped sun-dried tomatoes or diced jalapeños into the chicken mixture.
- If you prefer a lighter option, serve the patties on lettuce wraps instead of hamburger buns.
