Ingredients
- 6 slices of bread
- 6 slices of cheese
- 6 slices of bacon
- 4 eggs
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Green onion, chopped (for garnish)
- 100 grams hunter sausages, sliced
- 100 grams cheese, grated
Instructions
-
Prepare the Oven and Pan:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a muffin tin with butter or cooking spray.
-
Prepare the Ingredients:
- Cut the crusts off the bread slices and flatten each slice with a rolling pin. Press each slice firmly into the muffin cups to create the base.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until partially cooked but still pliable. Drain on paper towels.
- Slice the hunter sausages into thin rounds.
-
Assemble the Egg Cups:
- Place a slice of cheese over the bread base in each muffin cup.
- Line the edges of the muffin cups with a slice of bacon, forming a ring.
- Add a few slices of hunter sausages on top of the cheese.
-
Add the Eggs:
- Crack an egg into each muffin cup. If using smaller muffin tins, beat the eggs first and pour evenly into each cup.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
-
Top with Grated Cheese:
- Sprinkle grated cheese over each egg cup for a cheesy finish.
-
Bake:
- Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the bacon is crispy.
- For runny yolks, check the egg cups at the 12-minute mark.
-
Garnish and Serve:
- Once baked, let the egg cups cool slightly before removing them from the tin.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and green onions.
