Description

Rich, buttery garlic noodles paired with perfectly seared steak—this dish is indulgent yet incredibly easy to make. With bold flavors and a silky, savory sauce, these Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles are a weeknight hero, ready in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak (or preferred cut: ribeye, flank steak)
  • 12 oz egg noodles (or substitute with linguine or fettuccine)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Sear the Steak:
    • Season steak with salt, pepper, and any preferred steak seasoning.
    • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with 1 tbsp butter.
    • Sear the steak for 3–4 minutes per side (adjust for desired doneness).
    • Remove from skillet, let it rest, then slice into thin strips.
  2. Cook the Noodles:
    • Boil noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
    • Drain and set aside.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, melt remaining butter over medium heat.
    • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (30 seconds to 1 minute).
    • Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Combine & Serve:
    • Add cooked noodles to the sauce, tossing to coat.
    • Return sliced steak to the skillet and mix gently.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Resting the steak before slicing helps retain its juices.
  • Adjust spice level by adding more red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce.
  • For an extra creamy version, stir in a bit more Parmesan or a splash of heavy cream.
