Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin steak (or preferred cut: ribeye, flank steak)
- 12 oz egg noodles (or substitute with linguine or fettuccine)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Sear the Steak:
- Season steak with salt, pepper, and any preferred steak seasoning.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with 1 tbsp butter.
- Sear the steak for 3–4 minutes per side (adjust for desired doneness).
- Remove from skillet, let it rest, then slice into thin strips.
- Cook the Noodles:
- Boil noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside.
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt remaining butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (30 seconds to 1 minute).
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Combine & Serve:
- Add cooked noodles to the sauce, tossing to coat.
- Return sliced steak to the skillet and mix gently.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Resting the steak before slicing helps retain its juices.
- Adjust spice level by adding more red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce.
- For an extra creamy version, stir in a bit more Parmesan or a splash of heavy cream.
