  • 20 grams butter
  • 10 slices salami
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 bunch parsley, chopped
  • 100 grams grated mozzarella cheese

Instructions

Prepare the Loaf:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cut the top off the loaf and hollow out the inside, leaving a thick shell. Reserve the removed bread for another use.

Make the Filling:

  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs and add the salt.
  • Stir in the chopped parsley and grated mozzarella cheese until combined.
  • Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and fry the salami for 1–2 minutes on each side until slightly crispy.
  • Chop the cooked salami into smaller pieces and mix it into the egg mixture.

Stuff the Loaf:

  • Pour the filling into the hollowed-out loaf, ensuring it is evenly distributed.
  • Place the top of the loaf back on to seal it.

Bake the Loaf:

  • Wrap the stuffed loaf in aluminum foil, covering it completely.
  • Place the loaf on a baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the egg mixture is set and the cheese is melted.

Serve:

  • Let the loaf cool for a few minutes before slicing into thick pieces.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Bread Choice: Use a sturdy loaf like sourdough or French bread to ensure it holds the filling without collapsing.
