Ingredients
For the Fudge Base:
- 2 ¾ cups granulated sugar
- ¾ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar mix
- A pinch of kosher salt
- 3 cups white chocolate morsels
- 7 oz jar marshmallow cream
For the Maple Cinnamon Drizzle:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar mix
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Fudge Base
- In a medium saucepan, combine granulated sugar, unsalted butter, heavy cream, cinnamon sugar mix, and a pinch of kosher salt.
- Warm the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar and butter fully dissolve.
- Once the mixture reaches a gentle boil, reduce the heat slightly and let it simmer for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the white chocolate morsels and marshmallow cream. Mix thoroughly until smooth and creamy.
Step 2: Pour and Set the Fudge
- Line an 8×8-inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
- Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
- Allow the fudge to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate it for 3–4 hours, or until completely set.
Step 3: Make the Maple Cinnamon Drizzle
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, maple syrup, heavy cream, and cinnamon sugar mix.
- Adjust the consistency: add a splash of cream if too thick or a bit more powdered sugar if too thin.
- Whisk until smooth and drizzle-worthy.
Step 4: Decorate and Serve
- Drizzle the maple cinnamon topping over the set fudge, creating swirls or zigzag patterns.
- Let the drizzle set for about 15–20 minutes.
- Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper.
- Slice it into small squares or rectangles and serve.
Notes
- Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- For clean slices, warm your knife under hot water, dry it, and cut.
- Freeze fudge for up to 3 months by wrapping it tightly in plastic wrap and placing it in a freezer-safe container.
- For extra flair, sprinkle a little cinnamon sugar on top before serving.
