Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and optional cinnamon.
  5. Gradually combine dry ingredients with the creamed mixture, alternating with apple cider.
  6. Pour batter into the loaf pan, smoothing the top.
  7. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes until a knife inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 to 15 minutes before inverting it.
  9. Make the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar and apple cider until smooth.
  10. Once the cake is cool, drizzle the glaze over the top.
