Step by Step Instructions
- Peel and dice 2-3 firm apples. In a medium saucepan, combine the diced apples with ⅓ cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and a pinch of nutmeg. Cook for about 10-12 minutes until apples are soft.
- Remove from heat and let cool. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked apples with 1 cup of graham cracker crumbs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Mix until well incorporated.
- Refrigerate the filling mixture for about 30 minutes to firm it up.
- Scoop portions of the mixture and roll into bite-sized balls.
- Melt 8 ounces of white chocolate until smooth. Dip each truffle into the chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
- Place coated truffles on a parchment-lined tray and allow to cool until the chocolate hardens, about 15-30 minutes.
